MORSØ Ash Scraper – durable and versatile
Designed by award-winning Danish designer Klaus Rath, this is the perfect tool to make the most of your grill and oven, helping you arrange burning embers to best suit your cooking requirements.
One edge of the blade is serrated which means you can easily break up larger pieces of burning wood and briquettes so they burn more evenly, giving you more control of your cooking. The other flat side of the tool is ideal for scraping out ash when preparing for the next firing or cleaning your oven. It also doubles as an extremely useful blow pipe so you can blow life into specific areas of your fire.
Made from powder coated steel: Powder coating is an effective way of protecting metal from corrosion. It involves coating the piece with a layer of primer and a powder top coat, before curing the item for durability and protection, resulting in a strong product with extra resistance.
- Includes blow pipe to blow life into specific areas
- Serrated edge to break up larger logs, allowing you to arrange the embers to best suit your cooking needs
- Flat edge designed for cleaning ashes from the fire
- Made from stainless steel powder coated with a sleek black finish
Anyone who chooses a Morsø product benefits from the experience that has matured from over 170 years of production. In 1853 Niels Andreas Christensen founded his iron foundry on the island of Mors and initially manufactured various products – from stable windows to pots and pans. Around the turn of the century, the company focused on hand-crafting wood burning fireplaces, and in 1915 received the title of Royal Purveyor, which Morsø still holds today.
