MORSØ Fire Tongs – Powder-Coated Steel with Serrated Edges

Some of us just can’t stop playing with the fire. Luckily, sometimes it’s necessary. You need to move the firewood to get the fire going, or the embers need to be arranged to evenly heat the grill. But it’s easy to get burnt if the poker’s too short.

The award-winning designer Klaus Rath has developed these fire tongs especially for the Morsø Forno– the length is just right to make it easy to move firewood round in the stove. The tongs can of course be used in the Morsø Firepit, or Grill’s.

With their elegant stainless steel hanger, the tongs are also a beautiful decoration for the outdoor kitchen.

  • Made from powder coated stainless steel
  • Suitable for adding, removing or repositioning wood or food in an outdoor fire
  • Serrated edges designed to grip logs
  • Designed by Danish designer Klaus Rath, who also designed the Morsø Forno Multifunctional Oven

Anyone who chooses a Morsø product benefits from the experience that has matured from over 170 years of production. In 1853 Niels Andreas Christensen founded his iron foundry on the island of Mors and initially manufactured various products – from stable windows to pots and pans. Around the turn of the century, the company focused on hand-crafting wood burning fireplaces, and in 1915 received the title of Royal Purveyor, which Morsø still holds today.
