One component silicone sealant for high temperature applications.
This high quality product is a ready to use, one part acid curing silicone sealant. The applied sealant reacts with atmospheric moisture to produce a highly elastic silicone rubber. It is used for bonding, sealing, assembling and acting as a protective coating in many applications listed below in the description.
The silicone sealant forms a durable, flexible joint, unaffected by exposure to sunlight, snow and ozone. This makes it remain resistant for many years.
Vitcas® Heat Resistant Silicone is specifically designed and recommended for high temperature applications up to 300°C.

Instructions:
- Before applying the sealant, ensure that the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, and any other contaminants.
- Cut the nozzle to the desired size and apply the sealant in a continuous bead using a caulking gun.
- Smooth the sealant with a spatula or finger to ensure a proper seal.
- Allow the sealant to cure for 24 hours before exposing it to high temperatures or other environmental factors.
NOTE: If you are unsure about the temperature in the area of proposed application and it exceeds 300ºC, we recommend using Vitcas Black Fire Cement instead.
