The Morsø Faro Lanterns are made from powder coated iron with a brushed SUS304 stainless steel handle, making them the perfect centre piece for your outdoor table and can also be used to light up a pathway or outdoor area. Faro is the Italian word for lighthouse, and it is evident that the shaping of these beautiful lanterns has been inspired by the very epitome of such proud and towering beacons.
The hatch at the top of each lanterns, provides access inside, and lends the Faro its stylish and simple appearance. This is also a practical feature as it contributes to the prevention of the rattling side hatches.

Anyone who chooses a Morsø product benefits from the experience that has matured from over 170 years of production. In 1853 Niels Andreas Christensen founded his iron foundry on the island of Mors and initially manufactured various products – from stable windows to pots and pans. Around the turn of the century, the company focused on hand-crafting wood burning fireplaces, and in 1915 received the title of Royal Purveyor, which Morsø still holds today.
Being of study iron and glass thicknesses, the Faro Lanterns are extremely robust; and since the feet are adjustable – slightly elevating the lantern from it’s underlying structure – this will secure it’s stability and balance relative to the surface on which it has been placed on. The lantern is also equipped with water drainage at the bottom on each base, and it’s black powder coating makes it suitable for use in all weather conditions.
The Morsø Faro Lanterns are available in three sizes and can be purchased individually or as a complete set.
