This Stainless Steel Divider/Heat Deflector is a convenient accessory with multiple uses. You can use it to assist you in holding your firewood in place during storage, or to hold your fire to one side of you pizza oven while cooking or use it as a heat deflector for smoking.
Using the Morsø Fire Divider in your Forno or wood fired pizza oven allows you to hold the burning logs in the rear or the side of the oven, this in turn improves the heat produced from the fire, prevents ash and coals spreading all over your cooking surface and into your food, as well as deflects some direct heat making it that little bit easier to manage your cooking.
Another excellent use for the divider is to use this as a heat deflector for smoking. You can place it in your kettle smoker or charcoal barbeque and use it to deflect the heat from reaching your food, allowing you to achieve that low and slow cooking environment you require for smoking.

Made from stainless steel 430 grade, that has been treated with a material to provide a unique brushed finish. With general use stainless steel grade 430 has a useful resistance to heat and oxidation, and is not susceptible to stress corrosion cracking.

The Morsø Divider is a must for the Forno or other outdoor stoves, as it easily and simply divides the indoor area into a fire chamber and a cooking area. When grilling, roasting, or baking, the delicious food you’re cooking does not come into contact with the embers, while the holes in the divider ensure that drafts can be fed to the firewood.

Anyone who chooses a Morsø product benefits from the experience that has matured from over 170 years of production. In 1853 Niels Andreas Christensen founded his iron foundry on the island of Mors and initially manufactured various products – from stable windows to pots and pans. Around the turn of the century, the company focused on hand-crafting wood burning fireplaces, and in 1915 received the title of Royal Purveyor, which Morsø still holds today.
