MORSØ TRIVET WITH SQUIRREL MOTIF
Made with high quality cast-iron with a matt-black enamelled finish
Constructed from cast iron the Morso Squirrel Trivet has been designed for optimum sturdiness. The Squirrel Trivet acts as a conductor by absorbing the heat from a dish while ensuring that it does not penetrate the table or surface it is sitting on at the time, therefore keeping your hot dishes off of your countertops or table. Some surfaces like wood are especially vulnerable to heat which makes a trivet a must have item.
Designed to lower the intensity of flames and evenly distribute the heat, the trivet lets you serve a pot or hot dish without worrying about damaging your countertop or table.
The three rounded feet underneath prevent the trivet from shifting on the countertop, and small rubber covers protects your tabletop from scratching.

MORSØ TRIVET WITH SQUIRREL MOTIF – PROTECT YOUR COUNTERTOPS FROM HOT PANS
This heavy-duty cast iron Trivet is not only used for holding hot pans and hot foods to protect your dining table or counters, but they can also be placed underneath a pot plant, to protect your floor from scratches and stains.
The Morso Squirrel Trivet is also handy to use under a pot or humidifier on top of your wood-burning fireplace. If your fireplace is too hot to bring a pan to a gentle simmer, then adding a trivet will instantaneously give you a lot more control over the temperature of your stovetop! When used with a humidifier a trivet will allow the water in the humidifier to remain warm without boiling over, and ensures a more controlled evaporation [rubber feet should be removed if using the trivet under a humidifier or pot on a fireplace].

Anyone who chooses a Morsø product benefits from the experience that has matured from over 170 years of production. In 1853 Niels Andreas Christensen founded his iron foundry on the island of Mors and initially manufactured various products – from stable windows to pots and pans. Around the turn of the century, the company focused on hand-crafting wood burning fireplaces, and in 1915 received the title of Royal Purveyor, which Morsø still holds today.
